Thursday, November 25, 2004 Home again, home again, jiggity jog!
As you all know, Sheldon and I went back to Bishop's Falls last weekend. We had a wonderful time. We caught the bus at 7:45 Friday morning. I love the bus ride in. We finally got home and Sheldon realized that he lost his cell phone on the bus. He lost it somewhere between Gander and Bishop's. So mom called the office and they told her that when the bus goes to Springdale for a cleaning they'll kee an eye out for it and give us a call back. They never did call us. So Anyway, Friday night, Sheldon went to bed around 8ish, he was really tired, and mom, dad, and I went out to club called "Penny's". It's a real dive, but who cares they have a pool table and beer. So we played pool for a few hours and got drunk. It was fun!
Then on Saturday, Sheldon and I went to visit my Nan and Pop Langdon for a few hours, then my Nanna Upshell came to pick us up, and we went to her house for a few hours as well. Then mom called and wanted us to come back home. Before Nanna brought us back, she drove right through Bishop's Falls to show Sheldon around, and I had Nanna bring us to where Janice used to live so I could show Sheldon her house. When we got home, mom had brownies, cup cakes, fires, buffalo wings, and chicken fingers made. And guess what else? I was totally surprised. She had made a birthday cake for me! I won't be home this year for my birthday so she did this for me. How sweet! She gave me a robe, and my nanna gave me $20 in a card. It was awesome. Saturday night, Sheldon, mom and I went back up to Penny's, only cuz I wanted a pizza, and we played more pool while we waited for the pizza. I also called my friend Natasha and told her to come down so that we could spend some time together and she could finally meet sheldon. Well, She, along with everyone else, was quite impressed with Sheldon. Everyone who met him, loved him. I knew they would! Sunday came and we were back on the bus again. A few minutes after we got on the bus, Sheldon said to me that this was the same bus we came in, very good I said. The seats that we were sat in on the way home were occupied. The people who were sitting in them finally left those seats when we reached Mount Pearl. When they got up, Sheldon jumped into there seats and felt around in between the seats. And sure enough buddy, he put his hand between the wall of the bus and the seat, and there was his cell phone!!!! Well what a big relief that was I tell ya. I'm sure Sheldon was releaved as well. That was my weekend. Night all.
Wednesday, November 17, 2004 Me Time
Been a while since I've updated here. I'm not really sure where to start with it all. I knows one thing, I've got some wicked gas tonight, oh lord. Hahahhaha. Debbie came in last week, what a wild week that was I tell ya. Between indoor wall climbing, drinking, playing fuck ups, and going downtown the weekend, I must say I had a pretty good time. I guarentee you there wasn't a dull moment at all.
Sheldon and I will be home in 3 days and I can't wait! I'm getting anxious, and ancy, I don't know what to do with myself more then usual. LOL Sheldon cooked fishsticks tonight. Blah. what a stinck going through this apartment. I've got the door shut and too much axe sprayed around. My nose is burning. I'm just sat here right now bymyself in the dark, just having some alone time, and listening to Blue Rodeo. Gosh I love them and their music of course. I had lots more to say when I started typing this but its all gone now. So bye.
Saturday, November 06, 2004 Mini Wheats
I'm so sick of being so tired before I go to work everyday but oh well here I am.
So Ma and Pa Porter are in for a couple of days. I love it when they come in. They substitute for my parents and it keeps me from being too homesick at times. Plus they make me laugh a lot. Anyway, I've got a lot of Christmas shopping done on Thursday past. I've got my grandparents left to shop for before I go home on the 19th of November. Sheldon is coming home with me too. I can't wait to take him home. I've never been so excited to bring a guy home before. Sheldon is very nervous too, which is natural. I'm going to be more nervous for him. I can't wait for him to meet my Nanny Langdon (Bessie). Everyone is going to love him. Within the first 5 minutes of my mom meeting Sheldon, I know that she's going to see all the wonderful things I've been telling her about him. Today is our three month anniversary. I don't have any money to buy him anything this month, so I made him a card. He's gone to Sears right now, with Norm and Doreen for a big sale that started at 7 this morning. Everyone is off today, except me. :-( Oh well, I'll be off on Tuesday. I also have wicked start times this weekend and the following weeks. I start at 11:15 today and tomorrow to I believe, but from Monday to Friday for the next two weeks, I start at 11:45, how sweet is that? Pretty sweet if you ask me. Sheldon and I will be going to work together and leaving work together. Instead of waiting for a bus everynight, I'll have someone to walk home with. :-D Anyway, yesterday morning, I was sat down in the livingroom, watching tv and eating my breakfast, when I saw a little brown mouse run across the kitchen and under the stove, I got some fright I tell ya. I almost choaked on a mini wheat, seriously. I sat there freaking out, I didn't know what to do. So I jumped up and closed all the bedroom doors, which was pretty pointless since those dirty fuckers can just crawl under the door. I was here by myself of course, becuase nothing ever happens when I have people here with me. Damn it! So we've got these glue traps for it. Glue! I think we should have the ones that snaps the mouse and kills it, but whatever. If he ever gets caught in it and I'm here by myself, I'm leaving it there until someone comes home then they can throw it out. I'm too terrified of them by myself. I'm debating weather or not I want to catch the 10:05 or the 10:35 bus. I don't know, but I'm going to lie down for a little while now, my back is sore from sitting like I am right now in this chair thats always too far away from the keyboard. No matter how much I move the chair up I can't get it in a comfortable place. Bye all.
