In the A.M.
Sheldon and I saw the movie "The 40 Year Old Virgin" yesterday. It was honestly the funniest movie I have ever seen. I would pay money to go see it again. Absolutely hillarious.
He and I were also supposed to go down town Saturday night. We ended up staying home becuase we started drinking to early, and then were really tired by the time we should have left for the bus. We were looking pertty good too I must say. Sheldon had on his plaid button shirt with a white t-shirt under it. MmmMmmmmm and his hair spiked. I love it when he spikes his hair. I had on a 'skirt' and a white tank top. My hair was done curly, I had one side of my hair in a ponytail and the other side down. I wore a pair of earings that didn't match but looked real good, and I had on black rubber bracelets, and I made a "madonna glove" out of a pair of black pantiehose. I looked very 80's. I loved it! OH well, I'll just have to do it again the next time we go downtown. Right now I should go and brush my teeth and leave for Convergys fuckin shit hole. I hope I get another job soon!

Tired.
The movie Must Love Dogs was exactly what you would expect from that type of movie. I thought it was good. Sheldon said he could have waited for the DVD, lol.
Work was ok yesterday. It was Sunday anyway so it wasn't what you would call real busy. Today will be though. Hopefully we'll have a team meeting towards the end of the shift like last Monday.
I don't have much to report. I just wanted to fill in the movie part from ou anniversary. I had a great day and I was still wearing the smile on my face when I woke up the next day.

Attack of the Canadian Swans!!!
Sheldon and I had a wonderful time at the park. It was sparying a little bit of rain when we got off the bus at the Village. We had to wait 45 minutes for our connecting bus, Route 12, so we decided to go into the mall for a bit. When we came out the rain had stopped, but it was still very cloudy. But we didn't care about that. The bus driver was very nice and dropped us off right in front of the park entrance. I took many pictures. What a beautiful park that is. I've never seen anything like it. The pictures taken just doesn't do it justice.
Sheldon wanted to sit under a tree right besdie the pond. There were about two dozen ducks there for sure, and two big swans. The fuckers! I thought that this would be a wonderful spot. Sheldon set the blanket down and we started to unpack the cooler. I was unwrapping my sub when one of the swans started to get out of the water and walk up on the grass. I thought, wow, what a perfect camera opportunity. I took a few pics and the damn thing kept walking toward us. He stood right in front of us and hissed. I was scared and stood up. Sheldon stayed sat down and tried to shoo it away. It looked like it was starting to leave, when the second one came up on the grass. They both kinda stayed behind the tree debating weather or not to come around it. The came out around it alright. They came up right behind us. Thats when they started nibbling at the edge of our blanket. I was frightened and excited and couldn't believe that they were coming right up to us. The poor things were hungry thats all. But the two of them were hissing and scaring the crap out of me. I jumped up again, and Sheldon said maybe we should pack up and move to another spot. I agreed! We relocated and admired the animals from afar. LOL. I must say though that was the best part so far today.
Sheldon and I are going to the movies later on this evening. I want to see the movie Must Love Dogs.

Happy 1 Year Anniversary To Us
Before I get into this morning, I would like to update on the weekend gone by. The George Street Festival took place this weekend. My mom and my aunt Renne came in on Saturday afternoon. It was the first time my mom was ever in St. John's. We had a big bbq that day. Robin and Perry came in too, we had a full house. It was great. We all went downtown that night, and long story short, mom and aunt Ren decided to go on their own so we could do our own thing. Around 2:15 Perry wasn't feeling well, so we decided to catch a cab and go home. Sheldon said we should have one walk up and down the street to see if we could bump into mom and aunt Ren to see if they were ready to go home as well. Half way up the street, my aunt Ren found us. She said that mom had been gone an hour ago and she didn't konw where she went. Well I went into an instant panic, one of my worst nightmares come true. I know my mom can take care of herself, but stuff can still happen!! No matter where you are to! Anyway, we went back to Traper John's and we told everyone what was going on and so we all decided to go look for her. Aunt Ren said she would stay on the street and look for her. It was just after 3 when someone said she's probably home, lets get a cab. I was fine with that. Our next problem was getting a cab. We all were litteraly jumping out in front of cabbies and none of them would stop. Well I couldn't believe it! I really started to panic then. I have this fear here in the city any time I go anywhere, I'm sometimes panic thinking that I can't get home. But Sheldon always tells me that I can get a cab at anytime. Well we couldn't this time. By then I had had enough and I didn't care who was around, I started crying. I was so drained and scared, I felt absolutely helpless.
After trying to get a cab for about an hour, Lesley called Mike and he told her where the best place would be to go and get a cab. We started to walk towards the Delta Hotel when someone saw a cab across the street from where we were walking. God bless this man, he took us home. They're was 6 of us in this cab. A very tight squeeze mind you.
We got home and mom wasn't sitting on the front step. Perry went to the back and checked the bridge and he said he didn't see her. We got in the house and Lesley sat on my bed with me and held me as I cried. After about 10 minutes of that, everyone decided to go to bed. As Perry and Robin and Lesley were headed for the livingroom, we heard knocks on the back door. It was mom. She was on the back bridge the whole time but she was croched away, all balled up in a corner in the dark. That's why Perry didn't see her when he went back there. I was so releaved and so mad at the same time. She went into the bathroom I think before she went to bed, so Sheldon and I were pulling out more comforters out of the closet here in the spare room to put on the bed. Mom was froze. As I was getting mom to bed, aunt Ren showed up. She was frozed to. As the sun just started to peak above the horizon, everyone was finally in bed and the nightmare was over. Not for me tho, I was up in the bed at least another hour crying. My nevers were so shot at this point. I honest to God didn't know what to do with myself. I certainly couldn't relax and go to sleep. No way.
The next day, Sheldon, mom, aunt Ren and I went to Signal Hill and took some really nice pictures. Then we walked around downtown for a while. We took them to Our Pleasures. I love that store! That evening aunt Ren wanted to go out of town for a few hours to visit one of her friends. So me, mom and Sheldon went to see a movie. We saw The Island. It was a really good movie. As Sheldon and I were in line getting pop corn I told mom to go ahead, the man who takes her ticket would show her were to go. Sheldon and I went into the movie theatre and she wasn't there. Well me heart sank to me stomach. I said to Sheldon, will my mother stop getting lost this weekend. We found her in the next theatre over. Mom enjoyed herself. I was glad.
Today is mine and Sheldon's 1 year anniversary. We started off with me making us some breakfast in bed, then we exchanged cards and gifts, (I'll talk about those in my next post), and now we are off to Bowerring Park for a picnic. We have to go now and catch the bus.
