Here's all the news

On December 23rd, Sheldon and I got engaged!!!!!!! I didn't believe him at first. I thought he was playing a trick on me. He popped the question and I said yes! We come out of the room, and his dad was the first person we ran into. Lesley was gone to work, Debbie, Tammy, Norm and Doreen was here. I held my hand up, and Norm hugged me and Sheldon, then everyone came down the hall and everybody was hugging everyone. It was wonderful. Shortly after that I had to go outside for a smoke. Tammy took the dog out. I figured by now that Mike may have texted Lesley and told her the good news. I called her cell and I was going to leave a screaming message, but she picked up. I told her that I was engaged! She just stopped and said "To who?" Hahahaha it was priceless. I didn't really answer her, I didn't really know what to say. LOL. She said congradulations. And called me back when she was on her break. She was shocked. I was shocked! HOly crap.
The next day was my birthday. It was a wonderful day. I was given some wonderful gifts. Lesley, Mike, and Doreen made me an ice cream cake. It was absolutely delicious. Everyone decorated for my Birthday too. I loved it. I had a lot to drink that night. A full flask. Debbie kept making me drinks and I kept swigging them back. Apparently I was tellin' some stories. Dave called me and I wasn't sure the next day if I was talking to him or if I dreamt it. LOL. Doreen said that I was swearing like a sailor. Some shockin'. It was intentional. The next day Lesley woke us all up at 6:45 I was still drunk. I was more dizzy then anything. I got a lot of wonderful gifts. I slept off and on all day. I had a shower and i was tipsy in there too. Once I got out and got dressed, I wasn't dizzy anymore, just sick. It was still a good day. On boxing day, I lazed around and watched my Full House DVD, Season 2. I only watched the first two cd's and the day was just about over.
I was back to work the next day, showing off my ring. OH yeah, Mike gave a Lesley a beautiful ring for Christmas. He was trying to explain me how it looked a few days before, I could almost picture it, but when I saw it, the ring was much more beautiful. Sheldon got a ring for Christmas too. His parents bought gave it to him. Doreen showed it to me a few days before. Some nice!
I got a bottle of tequila for Christmas too. I want all of us to polish that off on New Years Eve. Sheldon and I are off on New Years Day so we won't worry about the drinking. Lesley has to work, but I don't think that the drink will bother her. She said she can go to work on 4 hours sleep. Wicked! Let's drink. Cheers!
I think that's it for now. OH yeah wait a second. On the 23rd, I was at work just starting my lunch break. I went into Lawtons to buy a bottle of water to go with my lunch. While I was in the lineup, you'll never guess who was in front of me. Mark Critch. You know, one of the guys from This Hour has 22 Minutes. He's a newfoundland comedian. I've seen him on the Halifax Comedy Festival, and a few other comedy shows like that. He's hilliarious. I got his autograph while in the line up. He wrote "Merry Christmas Mark Critch".

Update

I spose it's about time for an update. Work is getting stressful. My new manager has been giving me a lot of nightshifts this week. I guess its so I can finally get used to closing myself. I keep frigging it up and panicing so much when I do. It takes me for friggin ever to get out of the store on those nights! I was brought to tears one night. OH lord! I've been selling a lot of our discount cards at work lately as well, and my managers' boss has noticed this and is happy with me, but now my "card quota" is upped one more then everyone else, all becuase I had a good week. They are hard to sell this time of year. No one wants to pay $20 for a card that will entitle you to save 10% off your purcheses. You're just basicly saving the taxes. It's a good thing I guess if you're a frequent customer. I work from 6:30-11:30 tonight, which means I have to get a cab home. Another $12 got out of my pocket. It may be more actually becuase of the lights at that time of night. Saturday I'm working 3:30-6:30. This is a good shift. I don't have to close! I don't know if i'm working on Sunday yet. I was off yesterday when the new schedule was done. Sunday we're having a shopping party. The store is going to be a total mess at closing. I suck at closing.
Anyway, enough of that bullshit.
Sheldon and I got up 6:50 this morning to bring moms parcel up to Irving on Stavanger Drive to put it on the DRL bus for delivery. It only cost me $17 and change. The girl was all like, *sighs* u want to put that on the bus. We said yes. She didn't measure it or weigh it. She asked Sheldon, who was holding the box, "how much do u think it weighs?" He said about 15 pounds.
And that was that. We had a coffee and watched the bus go off at 7:30. I wanted to get on that bus and go home so bad. I haven't been home since May. I was home for Mother's Day.
My Christmas shopping is almost done. I have 2 or 3 things left to pick up next pay check and thats it!
