An update
Alright, my hours have been cut at work. I only get 25 a week, this week I get 26.5 oohhhhh so much. Blah. My manager is going on maternity leave in June, she is currently training an assistant manager. It is mandatory that the manager and the assistant manager have 40 hours each and that's where my hours are going, to the assistant manager! OH my. I'm looking for another job more seriously then before.
So far, I have a measley $100 saved for our wedding. The money is coming in so slowly and so little. I need a better job and fast. Sheldon has worked out a budget for himself to have all his cards paid off by this Novemeber. That's including the ring card. That would be great to have the ring paid off so fast. Sheldon was working a half hour overtime in the mornings last week, I'm not sure if he did the same this morning. If it was being offered, I'd say he did.
I spoke to my mom last night and shes going to call the manager of the Knights of Columbus to get the details about how far in advanced should we book, if a deposit is needed to hold it, and if the ladies that cater there, if they have a menu that I have to choose from or can I tell them what I want and they'll cook it. Mom is working all day today, so it won't be today she says, sometime the week. I'm going to call my Nanna later on in the week and ask her when she goes to church on Sunday to speak to whoever she needs to speak to there, to get me the same info about booking and such.
Mom was telling me that a plate of food may cost $8 to $10 each. If I have 100 guests, then thats $800-$1000. Oh my goodness! Weddings are never cheap, and I knew that, but just the food alone seems to be a lot. Well, it may not be, I don't have a dress yet, or even one picked out. That could be a bigger price, who knows. Oh dear. So much planning. We haven't really started much planning yet, just throwing ideas at eachother really. I have got to lose a lot of weight before I get a dress.
Sheldon and I already have a guest list made. His isn't so big as mine, so I was on the phone with mom last night trying to cut it down. After I got off the phone with her, I went from 123 to 100. It will be looked at again and the final number may be 94. I took a realistic look at the list and only 63 out of that 100 may show up. Some of them an invitation needs to be sent to them to include them. Like a a few of my dads sisters and one of his brothers, I have doubts that they won't come, but an invitation needs to be sent. Now everyone is supposed to RSVP me back, so then I can have a real count of plates for the supper. The rest that were cut off the list will get invitations to the church and the dance. We are having an open dance. Oh my. I'm very worried about having all of this in Bishop's Falls. Sheldon was thinking of getting married in town, I wouldn't mind that either but none of my family would make it out here. Whereas theres a better chance of Sheldon's relatives being able to get to Bishop's. Oh my, it's so overwhelming and we haven't started anything yet. I worries way too much, and I can feel a weight on me already.

I'm getting through the laundry here today. I've also got to go down to work on my day off to pick up keys AGAIN! I gotta go and pick up my fleece pants there today anyway. I left them there Saturday night. My boss was giving me a ride home, so when I went out back as normal to put on my gear, I brought my pants out as far as the cash desk and was going to take them in my arms. Well I left them there by accident.
Sheldon and I went to a party Saturday night. One of the girls from his work was having a birthday party. It was fun. I met a lot of people and bumped into one girl who I used to work with at Help Desk Now in Grand Falls. She is having a party this weekend for her boyfriend birthday. Anyway, we got shit faced, came home around 2:30, had some really good Kraft Dinner, and went to bed.
After today, I'm working the rest of the week. Mostly little shit shifts. I think tomorrow morning is my only 8 hour shift. I don't have the schedule up to Sunday yet, I got a good feeling that I will be put on to work Sunday. I've had the last few Sunday's off. I am always working Saturday night too, but the assistant manager gave me a break and has me working 11:00-6:00 this week.
That's it for me. I must go on now and finish the laundry, and sweep up the floors. Take care.
