Boaring
Nothing to new to talk about, or exciting I should say. I've got this weekend off. At 3 o'clock today I have a one hour meeting at work. Probably about the Grand Opening. I got my new uniform yesterday. The pants need to be hemmed up despretaly. I got two pairs of pants and smocks. Work is so dirty. We have cleaners everyday but it's just impossible to keep up on it with all the construction going on. I can't keep my finger nails clean, I always have to keep them cut. That sucks. If I had the nice secretary job that I want, I could have nice clean, manicured nails all the time. We'll see what the future brings for me I spose.
I love the song Sexy Back.
Cigarretts went up again. They are $9.93 at Irving, and are $10.00 at the smoke shop at work. Rediculous! When they go up to $10.00 at Irving, I'm going to have to give it up. I won't have a choice in the matter.
I didn't win the lottery last night. What's up with that?
We still don't have our new MCP cards either. We sent away for those before the summer.
Sheldon, Pam, and I are going to see a movie tomorrow. I'm so glad that she invited us to go with her. I've always liked Pam. When she was here Saturday night, I programmed her number into my phone, so now we can always call her when there's something on the go. Which is very seldom, but I would like to have her over.
There is this guy at work named Chris. He works as one of the security guards over there. When I first started working there, I occasionally said hello to him, that was it. It was about almost two weeks ago I suppose, I had a cleaning shift. Mind now, I have at least one cleaning shift a week, but on this particular day, he stopped to talk to me. Just chit chat, and introduce our selves to eachother. He wouldn't leave, and I had to get back to work before Barry or someother 'big cheese' saw us standing around doing nothing. I turned back to taking things off the shelf and wiping them down, and he went on again. About 10 minutes later, when he made his way around the store and back over to me again, he stopped to talk...again! Somehow we got to talking about dating or some shit like that, and right off the bat I told him that I was taken, I am engaged I told him. He seemed really surprised about that. Probably due to the fact that I wasn't wearing a ring. I don't wear my ring to work anymore, it's way to dirty, with the dust, dirty water, and all kinds of meat and chicken juice. Yuck! Anyways, yack, yack, yack, I told him that I would like to set him up on a date with one of Sheldon's friend's from work. He was all for it. It was convenient that Deb and us were having drinks here last Saturday night, I thought that would be pefect to get the two of them over for a first little meeting. He was very excited. As the week wore on, he kept following me around like a little puppy dog, one of those types. He was starting to scare me a bit by Friday. I wasn't keen on setting him up or even having him over here at the house. Long story short, neither he nor Nichole showed up Saturday night. When I went back to work on Monday, he said he was sorry for not coming over, that he had to work. I was releaved that he didn't show. Everytime he walks past my register he's always staring at me, always asking me when am I going to take my break because he has something to tell me. I mean what the fuck is this shit??? Get away from me!!! There is this girl at work named Pauline. I really like her. She's the type of person to tell it like it is. She's just strait with you all the time. I told her what was on the go with this Chris fella. And she told me that she thinks that this was the same guy who asked one of the other Jennifer's at work out before. She shot him down of course, because he's retarded! I didn't know that or I wouldn't have spoken to him in the first place. Anyway, Pauline, Heather and I had a cleaning shift this week, and he kept coming around us, taking to me. Heather said that he used to do the same thing to her, but she ignored him and he left her alone. Pauline said a few tongue in cheek things to him and he eventually slacked off coming around us. On this same shift there was a lady that asked me where were the rice cakes. I showed her, Chris was there at the time this happened. It was only a few minutes after that, the girls and I went on a break. As I was walking through the hallway out in the back, Chris comes up to me and tells me that the missus who asked me where the rice cakes are, has been flirting with him all day and that she's after hugging him twice. What??!! I just laughed and walked away. I told Pauline when we were out smoking, she died laughing. When I got home that evening, I was telling Deb this story and she said that Chris only said that to me, to try and make me jealous because he's got it bad for me. It makes sense. But I already told him that I'm off the market.
Fuck sakes! That's not even the best part. When I went to work on Wednesday, as per usuall, Chris saw me and asked me when my break was. As always I told him I don't know. Which is true I never knows. He caught me walking out with my jacket on when it was breaktime for me. He followed me out by Newbodys, I don't even know if that's how it's spelt, but you get the jist of it. He gives me this story about how on Tuesday night, he and a girl named Charlene, who works with us, went out on a date. They went to Klondike Jakes, and according to him, she asked if he was going to pay for the meal. Apparently that was a big deal to him. He then tells me, while there sitting there having their meal, he's asking her all kinds of questions. And all she could answer was "I don't know". My favorite question that he told me he asked her was, "what's your favorite color?" HAHAHAHA Can you beleed that shit? Yeah, when Sheldon and I went on our first date, finding out what his favorite color was the first thing on my mind. HAHAHAH. It was more like, is he going to kiss me? I hope so :-) He said the rest of the date was really boaring, because she wouldn't answer any of his questions. What a LOSER!! That all she wanted to talk about was the fact that he said he was thinking about getting a place of his own. He told me they were out on the side of the Village mall, and that they shared a very "deep, passionate, kiss". He told me that she started kissing his neck and he put a stop to it because he didn't want it to go any further then that. What the hell? If I was a fella I would have at least got a blow job out of it. We all know that the details of his story are bullshit, but I still went along with him. He kept saying, as if he couldn't get over this fact, all she could talk about was him getting his own place. I flat out said to him, "maybe all she wanted to do was fuck you" he eyes went as wide as saucers. He obviously didn't expect me to talk like that. I started saying really provacative things about sex. And he then tells me, that when he's in a relationship or otherwise that sex isn't really that important to him. As if he dosen't care if he has sex ever again. He's obviously never had sex before! Or didn't know what the hell he was doing. Which was probably the case. Anyway, we went back into work, I felt pretty good about shocking him a bit with my potty mouth, and for the rest of my shift he didn't come around again. I didn't catch him looking at me either. GOOD!!! So this is what's on the go at work so far. Hopefully I won't have anything else to say about work in the future.
Sheldon and I are going to get registered at a church tomorrow. When we were to Bishop's the summer, we met with the minister who is going to marry us, and he told us that we have to belong to a church out here. That he just can't marry us, it would be like we're using him. Well yeah, we're paying the man aren't we? Indeed, indeed. Whatever, we're going to get registered and make apparences there over the next two years. What a lot of rigem roll. I says we just fucks off to Vegas somewhere. But nope, Sheldon would like to have traditional, and really I want to do traditional as well.
Jeffrey made it to Calgary. Air Canada lost a piece of his luggage of course. Apparently they're famous for it. He got it back the next night. There's three of them living in a one bedroom apartment. It's going to be rough for Jeff at first, I'm sure he'll figure something out. I hope.
Sheldon and I are really into CSI Miami. I love that show. It's just like Cold Case Files and American Justice put together.
Does anyone watch Gene Simmons Family Jewels? Please stand up. hehe. I love that show to pieces. It's too funny. Better then the Osbournes I think. Gene's son, Nick. Woah! He's HOT! I love his sense of humor though. The whole family are so funny.
That's it for me now. I'm going to go have a smoke. Take care everyone.

An Update Yaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!!
I suppose I should update since I don't start work until 4:30 today. I'm working at Sobeys now. It's a great place to work. The people there are so different then any other place I've worked. The supervisors/managers don't talk down to you, everyone seems to be treated the same there. I've been there for about a month now.
My last day at La Senza was July 29th. On July 30th, Sheldon and I hopped on the good ol' DRL bus and went to Bishop's Falls. He was there with me for a week. We had such a great time. There were lots of booze, bbq's, supper's, and a few fires out in the back yard. Mom and Sheldon were roasting hot peppers on one of the fires, and then chasing it with beer. Gross! Dad and I were doing some laughing at them. One night Sheldon, mom, and I were drinking, and Sheldon kept hiding her beer on her. We were cracking up at her as she kept looking for her beer. Mom said she should go drinking with us more often because she didn't have any hangovers. We had a family picture taken out in the garden, but mom wanted to get it done professionally, but Jeffrey would not agree to it so we had to settle for the garden. I like it; mom's not fussy about it though. Our dog Brandy was able to get in the picture too, I liked that idea.
We went out to Debbie's and Tammy's too! We learned how to play Texas Hold 'em. Sheldon and I had a laugh out there. Although it was only short lived, just one day out there, we had to be back to Bishop's the next day for the supper Nanna had planned for us. That was also supposed to be the day we had planned to get our family picture taken, but it didn't clear up, so it turned out to be the next day.
Before I knew it, the week was over, and Sheldon had to get back to town. I went up to Irving with him, and kissed him good bye. I cried a little as the bus was pulling away, and I watched it go up the highway until it was out of sight. I took my camera with me, so that I could get some pictures of Beaumont Heights, which is behind the Irving. I started from the Dam, then worked my way down the hill, taking pictures of every little thing that served as a memory for me. It was hard to look at the empty play ground on Jelly Bean Square, which is across the road from the top of Beaumont Heights. From the time I was 6 years old right up until I was in my late teens, the play ground was always there. My God, so many memories there, and so many friends. Some of them are dead now, most of them have children, and most are moved away. My God, I can't believe that Bump (Chrystal-Lee) and Davey are dead. Oh so young. Sure Bump was younger then me, and Dave was only 19 when he died. Fuck sakes! Today, actually, is the anniversary of Davey's death; 7 years! I was 17 then. It's mom and dad's wedding anniversary today too! And Jeffrey, my brother, left for Calgary today. Oh yeah, Sheldon's friend, Nichole from work, is leaving today to move back home with her folks for a while. Gees big day today!
Anyways, I got off track here. Oh yes, Sheldon went home after a week. I stayed an extra week just because I could. I had a good time. I went all over Bishop's. Well most of it, just the spots that were important to me. Oh yeah, I took Sheldon over to "Skin Hill" when he was home with me. We didn't climb it or anything. We just looked at the friggin cliff and all I could think was how in the hell did I ever manage to climb it? This was our smoking place. I fell, well, more like slid down this bloody cliff back in the day. When I was 13 years old. I went sliding down right the front of it; I remember trying to dig my fingers into the side as I was going down. Thank God for brush and crap growing out of it, I grabbed some and there was some at my feet that stopped me from falling right to the bottom where the Exploits River wasn't far from the edge. Needless to say, we (my cousin, Amanda, and our bf's at the time, Adam and Jeff) found another smoking spot. Which I think was the post office. HAHAHA. Ah good times! You had to be there I guess. When it was cold out, we would go inside the post office and play 'post office'. Ah funny.
As soon as I came back to town, I had an interview with Sobeys, and started working right away. Jenn's ass was saved once again!
I went downtown a few weeks ago, with the girls from La Senza. Natasha was leaving so we all got together one last time before she left. It was fun. I went outside for a cig twice and each time I went, I walked up George, took random pics of strangers, and I had my picture taken with some missus who's engaged as well, with her camera. The second time I went out for a smoke, I walked up to Confusion, I think, and they were playing retro 90's dance music so I went in and wanted to have a dance. I staggered up the stairs and ended up on the street behind the club, there was a bouncer there and I told him I was trying to get upstairs. He pointed to the stairs next to the building. When I finally got to the dance floor, I saw this fella out on the balcony so I took his hand and started dancing with him. He started dancing with his arms going up and down in the air, and his friend came over and started dancing behind me, sandwiching me. It felt like a night at the Roxbuy. HAHAHA. I left there as fast as my drunk legs would get me. I didn't know how to get out from where I was, so I decided to go out the way I came in. I walked back down the street to the Sundance and I couldn't find my way down stairs where the girls were. I could see all these Exit signs that led nowhere. I felt my phone vibrate and I felt too drunk to handle even answering that, but I did answer, and it was Charlette asking me where I was too. I told her I was upstairs and couldn't find my way down. Eventually I did find my way and she saw me and grabbed my arm, and we all went to her car and she drove all of us home.
Saturday gone, we had some drinks here at the house. Debbie was in all week doing a course for work. She stayed with us for a few days. Deb bought this tequila that tastes like orange creamciciles. I don't know how to spell that word. But you knows I had about 4 shots of that, and 8 beer. Well, I was falling down by the end of the night, so I went on to bed out of it. When I fell down it was when I was trying to get in the bed. I was actually trying to sit at the foot of the bed and missed completely, I fell over clothes, Sheldon's book bag and the dehumidifier. Fuck sakes, my back was aching the next day I tell ya! Oh well, I still had fun. It was even funner watching Sheldon trying to pick me up. Hehehe some shockin'!
Debbie left today. She was in town for a week. We loved having her here. It's too bad Tammy couldn't have come in too, but that's ok, they both are going to be here in a few weeks. They are going to Tammy's for Thanksgiving, so we'll see them before Sheldon and I go to New Brunswick for a week in October.
That's it for me now, I'm going to light a candle for Davey and go have a smoke. Take care everyone.
